New Michelin stars in Utah: the August 2026 guide
What changed in August 2026
The August 2026 guide added one newly starred restaurant in Utah: Monte.
When the stars are announced
The stars in Utah come from the MICHELIN Guide Southwest, revealed once a year, usually in August. The latest selection was revealed on 26 August 2026 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Michelin hasn't named the next date yet; going by past years, expect it around August 2027. The first Southwest guide covers Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. Every guide's dates are in our list of Michelin Guide ceremony dates.

How the prices are counted
Per person, before service
Every figure is for one guest and excludes sales tax, which varies by city (8.875% in New York City, for example), and tip, which is usually 18–22%. Many restaurants add a set service charge instead of a tip, and some San Francisco restaurants add a small surcharge for staff health care. Supplements such as caviar or truffle courses are left out. Prices shown in other currencies use the day's exchange rate and are approximate.
Where prices come from
Dinner is the main tasting or omakase menu where there is one, and wine is the cheapest pairing for it. We take prices from each restaurant's own website where they're published, otherwise from its booking page (Tock, Resy or OpenTable), recent reviews and guides. À la carte restaurants show a typical main course (“per main”). Lunch is the set or tasting lunch menu where there is one.
Stars and Google rating
The Google reviews score out of 5 and the number of reviews, checked in October 2026. Stars come from the latest MICHELIN Guide covering Utah.
