Method

How the prices are counted

Per person, before service

Every figure is for one guest. Spanish menu prices include 10% VAT (IVA) and no service charge is added, so these are the full prices before drinks; tipping is optional, and 5–10% is generous. Supplements such as caviar or cheese courses are left out. Prices shown in other currencies use the day's exchange rate and are approximate.

Where prices come from

Dinner is the restaurant's main tasting menu, and wine is the wine pairing for it. Where there are menus of different lengths, the note gives the shorter one too. Prices come from each restaurant's own website where they're published, otherwise from recent reviews and booking sites such as TheFork. Most Spanish restaurants serve the same menu at lunch, and many in the countryside open only at lunch on weekdays: the lunch note says which days, using the opening hours on Google. Where there's a cheaper lunch menu, that's shown instead.

Stars and Google rating

The Google reviews score out of 5 and the number of reviews, checked in October 2026. Stars come from the MICHELIN Guide Spain 2026, announced in Málaga on 25 November 2025. A green ▲ marks a restaurant that gained a star in the November 2024 or November 2025 guide; a red ▼ marks one that lost a star.
