How the prices are counted
Per person, before service
Every figure is for one guest. Mexican menu prices include 16% VAT; service isn't added at most restaurants, and a tip of 10–15% is customary. Some hotel restaurants add a 15% service charge. Prices shown in other currencies use the day's exchange rate and are approximate.
Where prices come from
Dinner is the restaurant's main tasting menu, and wine is its wine pairing where one is offered. For à la carte restaurants the figure is a typical main course or, at taquerías and small places, a typical spend. Prices come from each restaurant's own website where they're published, otherwise from OpenTable, Tock or recent Mexican press. Esquina Común doesn't publish its prices.
Stars and Google rating
